Urban Cultures in The Early Modern Habsburg Territories

Jaroslav Miller is a professor of history at Palacký  University, Olomuc. His field of research includes urban history as well as the history of political thought. He is the author of numerous papers and books, including his monograph on Urban Societies in East-Central Europe, 1500 - 1700 and The Closed Society and its Enemies: The City in East Central Europe (1500 - 1700), (Nakladatelství Lidové noviny: Prague, 2006).
